Sunny Jain (Drums) M.A. New York University; B.M. Rutgers University. Mr. Jain was prestigiously designated a Jazz Ambassador Of The United States Of America by the Department of State. He has been an integral part of Hayes Greenfield's Jazz-A-Ma-Tazz, an interactive kids music show that has been honored with the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold Award, Child Magazine's Best of the Year Award, and the Publishers Weekly Listen Up award.
Mr. Jain was featured by Jazz Hot magazine (France) and touted as a rising star for his fusion of jazz and Indian music. He has toured Europe, Japan, India, West Africa, Canada and the States extensively and also performs on Broadway.
Mr. Jain teaches ALL drum styles: rock, blues, funk, afro-cuban and various world percussion instruments. He is author of The Total Jazz Drummer (Alfred Publishing), Faculty of National Guitar Workshop, Day Jams, and has guest lectured at variety of educational institutions.
